WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) is extruded thermoplastic composite made of polyethylene and natural wood fiber. Its most widespread use is in outdoor deck floor, but it is also used for railings, fences, landscaping timbers, classing and siding, park benches, molding and trim, window and door frames, and indoor furniture.
Exterior Decking WPC
Wood plastic composite is more environmentally friendly and requires less maintenance than the alternatives of solid wood. WPC is resistant to cracking and splitting, it is a material that can be molded with or without simulated wood grain details.
PROPERTIES & ADVANTAGES
1. Long Life Span:
Polyethylene and wood fibers are treated to resist weather agents, attack from termites, fungus and decay. Wood plastic composite (WPC) board has an excellent performance. It is anti-UV rays, waterproof, anti-cracking and moth proof. Besides its color does not fade, it can last from 20 to 30 years in perfect conditions giving it a much longer life cycle.
2. Environment Friendly:
The wood plastic composite (WPC) board is made using plastic and flour and no toxic chemicals are added when it is processed. It is environmentally rated in the ECO class, which is by far the most rigorous environmental standard. It is also recyclable, and has all the features of green environmental protection as well as sustainable development.
3. Low maintenance cost:
WPC doesn´t needs maintenance. Wood plastic composite decks are highly stain resistant. A periodic cleaning of the floor is sufficient for its proper maintenance.
Flame retardants are added to WPC decking during the manufacturing process, so it is non-flammable. Wood composite floors presents a very safe product.
6. Cost Saving:
Thanks to its high durability in addition to its easy installation and replacement due to its patented board-by-board joist system, our WPC deck allows for reduced installation cost as well as low maintenance and replacement cost.
The available WPC floor types are:
- Solid plank
- Hollow plank
